Green Valley Municipal Golf Club first opened for play in 1960. The course was designed by David Gill.

The course abuts the Loess Hills and is known for its rolling hills and long greens. Lakes that come into play on at least five separate occasions. The greens are large are pretty flat with the exception of three or four holes.
